BHS’ Exhibition Laboratory, an after school museum studies program for high school students, teaches the history, function and purpose of museums by providing hands-on educational experiences.  With your support, an Ex Lab student will have the opportunity to conduct research in the BHS collection and explore Brooklyn’s neighborhoods to see how national events played out on local streets.  Not only will an Ex Lab student conduct original research, he or she will get to work with archivists, graphic designers and installation experts to design the look and feel of the exhibition.  Your sponsorship will help equip a high school student with transferable skills to apply for scholarships, competitive internships and jobs that will prepare them for the rigors of college.
