MORE THAN JUST A SLEEP OVER

The Institute's Spy Camp staff loves developing loud, messy, high-energy activities to introduce science content to children. In their Super-sized Live Science Shows, designated agents use special equipment to demonstrate basic chemistry and show how tiny molecules can cause tremendous changes. This is reinforced in the Mysterious Molecules Workshops, where kids learn to "see" what can't be seen and get first-hand experience using the science of molecules to identify secret solutions, transform ordinary liquids into bubbling gases, see colors charge right in front of them and decode clues to solve a mystery.

Campers get plenty of time to explore The Franklin Institute's exhibits, including The Train Factory, Space Command, Amazing Machine, The Giant Heart: A Healthy Interactive Experience, The Franklin Air Show, Sports Challenge, and Sir Isaac's Loft. They will also be immersed in science with a film in the Tuttleman IMAX® Theater, with its 170-degree, four-and-a-half-story domed screen, and travel the universe from their seats with a show in the Fels Planetarium.

Spy Camp is a favorite feature of The Franklin Institute's famous Camp-In program.
