I hand-turned this pen on a lathe. The style of pen is a Hybrid Cigar Pen with a chrome and platinum finish. The barrel is turned out of amboyna, which is the burled section of the narra tree. The wood is prized for its swirling colors, which in this case ranges from tan to dark brown to dark reds. The nib of the pen untwists so that the ink cartridge can be replaced.
