This auction is for Swan Upping Cottage, a 1-year limited edition Collectors Guild Piece #14, by David Winter. It measures 3.75" wide X 3" deep X 5.25" tall.

The David Winter Cottages collection takes us back to a tranquil existence enjoyed by countless generations who lived and worked in simpler days gone by. The attention to detail makes these hand-crafted and hand-painted pieces highly collectible. One of David's quaint habits was to sculpt a mouse or owl onto his cottages and castles. It's fun to try to find these very tiny additions. (HINT: mouse is on the backside, chimney angle.) In December 1993 John Hine Limited was sold. All cottages bearing the John Hine Studios label are now retired. Piece is in excellent condition.

The value of this cottage is slightly lower because of slight chipping on the roof tiles to the right.
