Turkish cuisine is extensively internationalized. For six hundred years the Ottoman Empire spread from the Danube to the tip of the Arabian Peninsula. The basics for the exotic Turkish cuisine today prevail from the Balkans, Aegean, & Mediterranean regions to the shores of North Africa. Many of our recipes are hundreds of years old and were served to the Ottoman Sultans.
