The Wine Advocate wrote "A big, fruity, rich St.-Emilion with surprising elegance for its flamboyant personality, this blend of 70% Merlot, 24% Franc, and 6% Cabernet Sauvignon, exhibits copious quantities of dried herbs intermixed with new saddle leather, black currants, cherries, smoke, and licorice. Medium bodied, with outstanding purity, adequate acidity, good uplift, and a fine finish". Projected to drink well through 2016, this wine is ready for you now or could be put away to brighten a rainy day.
