Description

St. Supery is a family-owned estate winery in the heart of Napa Valley, recognized for outstanding Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Elu & Virtu blends. Lesser known on the East coast for it's terrific reds due to low distribution, St Supery?s standout wine is it?s Elu Meritage. Hard to find anywhere outside of the winery even in a standard 750ml size, this double magnum (2.5 standard bottles) was a mailing list exclusive. Reviews say "from the start the 2003 Elu was an amazing wine, there is great depth of both aroma and flavor. A blend of 75% Cab, 18% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot, 2% Cab Franc, and ,1% Malbec, the wine begins with hints of cocoa, blackberries and toasted oak. Upon further investigation, one picks up kirsch and black cherries. Elegant, supple and gracefully balanced, and finishing with a lively burst of ripe fruit and supple tannins. Drink now through 2015."
