Wine Spectator rated this gem a 93 and Parker called 2001 one of the greatest vintages of Chateauneuf-du-Pape. Loaded with richly layered plum and boysenberry fruit, this creamy-textured Chateauneuf has tons of vanilla, mocha and sweet spice up front, while hinting at its stony, gamy side underneath. Concentrated, long and plush. Very impressive. Best from 2005 through 2016. Only 150 cases were imported and your sample is only available here.
