Mare Island Golf Club, 2 rounds of golf with cart (Monday through Friday), can be yours to enjoy.  Get your clubs out of the closet and start swinging.   The course has recently been re-routed.  This historic par-70 golf course, on Mare Island in Vallejo,California measures 6,150 yards from the blue tees. It was originally opened for play in 1892, making it the oldest golf course west of the Mississippi River. This 18 hole course features two distinct layouts. The front 9 is a more traditional course design, with small greens and tight, tree-lined fairways. The back 9, redesigned by Robin Nelson in 1999, is links-style, featuring rolling hills, undulating fairways, and beautiful greens.
