Five hours of consulting time with Bruce F. Blaisdell, Esq.  Topics may include executive coaching, advice on development activities, advice on developing a communications strategy, advice on mergers or other forms of strategic alliance.  Mr. Blaisdell has 35 years of experience as an executive senior manager, consultant, and attorney in the public and private sectors.  For the past thirteen years, he has served as an Executive Director, Interim Executive Director, Chief Operating Officer, and consultant to non-profit community-based agencies providing a variety of services.  This has included several engagements as an Interim Executive Director of agencies in crisis. He served for ten years in the Commonwealth’s Executive Office of Health and Human Services, including as Director of the Commonwealth’s human services contracting system.  He also served for over three years as Managing Attorney in the City of Boston Law Department.  In addition to transitional executive management, his consulting experience includes executive coaching; facilitating discussions of merger and other forms of strategic alliance; developing communications strategies and plans; supporting a variety of development efforts, including grant writing, event planning, annual appeal planning, and soliciting major gifts; strategic planning; organizational assessment; and assistance with issues of compliance.  He serves on several non-profit Boards, including as Treasurer of Associated Early Care and Education, and of the Youth Advocacy Foundation.
