Shakira has worked as a psychotherapist for twenty years in California and Colorado, working with individuals going through major life changes such as divorce, death of a friend or family member, illness, accidents and work-related challenges. Shakira herself is a cancer survivor and has worked with many others facing serious illness.

She also offers massage therapy, body and energy work as well as meditation, in combination with life coaching.

Shakira has had her office at the Nautilus Gym in Novato for 10 years.
