Head-Royce Summer Program: K-5 Afternoon Recreation Camp
Item Number: 1020
Time Left: CLOSED
Description
Join us in the K-5 Afternoon Recreation Camp, where fun, learning, and good old-fashioned camp spirit are everywhere. If you were to visit, you might hear the tapping of hammers and whoosh of saws as students work together to diagram, measure, and construct a fort with the guidance of expert carpenters. You wouldn’t be able to ignore the scent of sunscreen as we lather up for free swim or...weekly waterslides! At Camp Meeting, you would be invited to join us in a hokey pokey, show off your costume for the theme of the week, or bellow your group’s camp cheer. You’d have time to explore the garden, hang with friends, and get to know your counselors. You might even explore new talents while making a movie, learning to drum, or solving a theatrical mystery. Throughout the day, well-trained counselors lead campers through structured activities that allow them to explore talents and develop new skills. Specialist teachers enhance the program with regular offerings that typically include dance, gardening, visual arts, and more. Afternoon K-5 campers who are swim-capable will have the daily opportunity to participate in free-swim.
Great alone or in combination with our morning mix of academic enrichment and Red Cross Swimming lessons. Visit WWW.HEADROYCE.ORG/SUMMERPROGRAM or email summer@headroyce.org for more information.
