Students in Ms. Pantazes’ fourth grade class looked at, discussed and created ‘action paintings’ just like Pollock. Each student worked on a small abstract painting in the style of Jackson Pollock and then we put them all together to create our cool, action paintings! Each student created their own larger action painting in art class as well.

Paul Jackson Pollock (January, 1912 – August ,1956) was an influential American painter and a major figure in the abstract expressionist movement. During his lifetime, Pollock enjoyed considerable fame and notoriety.
