Students in Mrs. Cramer’s 1st grade class looked at, discussed & created art in the style of Van Gogh. We looked at many of his sunflower paintings and talked about how much he enjoyed painting them. Each student created a sunflower using mixed media to help create our ‘Sunflower Collage’.

Vincent van Gogh (March 1853 – July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter whose work had a far-reaching influence on 20th century art for its vivid colors and emotional impact.
