Description

Students in Ms. Catrow and Ms. Wong’s third grade classes looked at, discussed and create their very own Starry Night Picture. We looked at his famous work of art and talked about what was happening in the picture & the colors that were used. Each student was given a ‘section’ of the painting to recreate using oil pastels. We then put all the pieces together to create our mural.

Vincent van Gogh (March 1853 – July 1890) was a Dutch Post-Impressionist painter whose work had a far-reaching influence on 20th century art for its vivid colors and emotional impact.

This is a Live Event Item.
