A lovely and functional piece - our guess is bronze, with the name "Reichi" etched in the base of the statuesque figure, over which hovers what appears to be a crane... Roman numerals representing 1909 - 1979 appear near the top, celebrating the 70th anniversary of the Nakamura Gakuen School.
