Signed baseball by the the 1968 MVP and Cy Young Award winner.  Denny recorded a 31-6 record with a 1.96 ERA.  In 1968 his 280 strikeouts - as opposed to only 63 walks - also contributed to Detroit's first pennant since 1945.
