We're open daily in November through February from noon until 5:00 PM MST, and Mon/ Weds/Fri/Sat evenings from 5:30 PM to 9:30 PM MST (we may close earlier in poor weather).


View through a variety of telescopes including Percival Lowell's 24" Alvan Clark refractor, explore interactive exhibits, and enjoy our widescreen multimedia shows.



DAYTIME TOURS

LogoBoth the Clark Telescope and Rotunda Museum are handicapped accessible.
LogoAt your leisure, you can explore the Discover the Universe exhibit hall and watch the 15-minute multimedia show Lowell Observatory: A New Century of Discovery in the Giclas Lecture Hall.
LogoWhen the weather permits, safely view the Sun from 12:30 - 12:55 PM.

 


NIGHTTIME PROGRAMS

















LogoDoors are open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.. Telescope viewing is weather-dependent and commences as soon as it is dark enough.
LogoAt your leisure, you can explore the Discover the Universe exhibit hall.
LogoThe multimedia show Heavy Astronomy repeats throughout the evening in the Giclas Lecture Hall.

 


SCHOOL AND PRIVATE PROGRAMS

























LogoA private, one-hour daytime program is $80.00, and includes two multimedia presentations and/or historic tours.
LogoA private, 90-minute evening program is $170.00, and includes one multimedia presentation and exclusive access to the telescopes for viewing (weather permitting).
LogoAll private programs also include access to our Visitor Center's Discover the Universe exhibit hall.
