My name is Sherri Smith-Dodgson and I'm an educator, SUSD parent and member of the Scottsdale Parent Council. Last summer I started a program called Discover Science 4 Kids and since September, I have been facilitating an after-school science club that I created especially for elementary students.

This summer Discover Science 4 Kids Summer Camp will be back for a 2nd year. Our focus will be on the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) philosophy. I have received district approval to distribute fliers, but I am emailing you, to let you know first hand what our program is about. Our goal is to instill (in elementary students) a love for all things science, while participating in fun, hands-on experiments and integrated activities.
