From Outer Voices' own images, depicting the life, culture and communities of the people of the Pacific Islands and Southeast Asia, we are offering this one-of-a-kind print from our current exhibition, The People of Nifiloli.  In the exhibition we try to capture the essence of day-to-day life for the people who inhabit this very remote island in the southeastern corner of the Solomon Islands.  The people of Nifiloli live an almost entirely self-sufficient life, and rely on their own creativity for their cultural life and community mores.  Our "advanced" civilization has so much to learn from their extraordinary capacity for self-reliance and deep ingenuity -- what we strive to build in our own children by sending them to Waldorf School.
