Napa Valley Zinfandel
This wine smells great! It has intriguing aromas of dark red fruits - fresh, crushed and baked. There is a pinwheel of spices intermixed with cherry and currant. Slightly floral and a hint of citrus peel. With great complexity, it’s hard to imagine that this much power can come across on the palate with such finesse. The tannins and acid are in perfect synergy and lend themselves nicely to a lengthy and concentrated finish showcasing the red and dark fruit characteristics.
