About Joan Miller:

Joan Haefele Miller has studied and taught movement for over 30 years. After completing her MFA at Smith College in Dance in 1980, she performed and taught dance in a New England touring company. Simultaneously, she studied Authentic Movement with Janet Adler, Pilates with Mary Bowen, and Body, Mind, Centering with Andrea Olsen and Susan Waltner. Joan taught at Mary Bowen's Pilate studio in Northampton, MA. Joan has continued her studies in Anusara Yoga with John Friend and his principal teachers and Continuum Movement with Emilie Conrad. She brings to her Pilates teaching the creativity, insight and expertise developed in her many years as a student, teacher, and mother.
