About the Chardonnay:
Wine Review: This light yellow colored Chard opens with a butterscotch like bouquet with hints of ripe pear and honey detected as well. On the palate, this Chard is full bodied, balanced, and creamy. The flavor profile is a toasty oak with hints fruit blended in. Those fruits are lime, pear, and pineapple. The finish is dry and a bit tingly. Our mini group thought this oak driven Chard would pair well with a rich seafood casserole. Enjoy - Ken
Winemaker Notes: This fine Chardonnay treats you to an aroma of ripe pear, honey, and citrus. Its silky creamy texture of vanilla, oak, and apple coat the palate. This vintage ends with a very long finish of rich butter and nutmeg. You will find this medium bodied great balanced wine fantastic to drink today or add it to your wine cellar for a treat over the next 8-10 years.
This bright garnet colored wine has multiple personalities; it starts with smokey dusty raspberry moves into bright characters of cherry and cranberry then finishes with red licorice, cinnamon, and cream soda. It’s a blend of flavors that enduces a craving for duck, mushrooms, or grilled salmon. A perfect wine to dine with.
About the Pinot Noir:
Wine Review: This bright black cherry colored Pinot opens with a mild raspberry and mint like bouquet. On the palate, this wine is full bodied, very well balanced, and has quite a smooth texture. The flavor profile is a restrained strawberry and plum blend that is quite luscious. The finish is dry and its moderate tannins show noteworthy persistence. This is a graceful wine that is really enjoyable. This wine would really pair well and enhance a pork tenderloin. Enjoy – Ken
