Description

Handmade, one-of-a-kind dreamcatcher, made by local artist Antoinette McNichol.

About Dreamcatchers:

It's said that a dreamcatcher hangs in a sleeper's bedroom to catch dreams in its magic web - like a spider catching its prey. Good dreams slip through the hole near the center on the web and drift silently from the soft feathers to the very heart of the dreamer. Bad dreams, however, choose to ignore the way of the Great Spirit and become trapped in the web only to perish with the light of day. Traditionally, dreamcatchers are given to one at birth. Beads are added to represent bad dreams caught, and feathers are added for the good dream that are let through.
