The Artevino Cowboy Red is a full bodied blend of Zinfandel, Merlot, and Carignane. This wine will stand up to very hearty foods. Maple Creek Winery is located in the Yorkville Highlands AVA in Southern Mendocino County. The 12 acres of vines are split between Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and a rare cross called Symphony. About 3,000 cases of wine are made each year. These grapes thrive in the hot days and cool nights and grow in hillside clay, loam, and rocky soils. This unique combination creates the wonderfully rich and complex Maple Creek Wines.
