The first grade students and teachers worked together to create an amazing, vibrant piece of art glass.  They each formed their initial out of colorful glass chunks onto a square of contrasting glass.  These squares were then combined and fused together in a kiln to produce a 13 1/2" square bowl.  

The name of each child and teacher has been etched on the underside of their piece of the patchwork.  The design also includes the grade and year - to ensure that the lucky purchaser of this amazing project will always remember their first grade year at North Broward!
