Ed Sands, the eponymous proprietor of Calvert-Woodley Wine and Liquors, has specially selected this wine for the Round Theatre Gala auction.  Produced from what Robert Parker calls a “tiny jewel of an estate hidden in a park just behind Haut-Brion” he awards it 93 points and states that it “hits the palate with a full-bodied elegance, purity, precision, and savory charm….resulting in a vivid compelling Bordeaux that tastes almost Burgundian.”  Drink now to 2025.
