Description
Moises Jimenez, grandson of Manuel Jimenez, who is credited with beginning the woodcarving movement in the village of Arrazola, has carried on his grandfathers legacy, by carving and painting in his father’s style. Always using much expression of movement in their pieces, the Jimenez’s have achieved almost unrivaled success in representation in museum exhibits and gallery shows. Moises creates this contemporary fox in a startling pose, convincingly looking at something.
Artist/Sculptor "Autor" Armando Jimenez (Moises), has signed the underside of the piece, made in Oaxaca, Mexico.
