Welcome to Playing For Change & Education, an online auction to promote peace, well-being, and education through music. Featured in the auction are tons of exciting items including signed music & sports memorabilia, special unique and celebrity signed musical instruments & sports memorabilia, plus a variety of treasures and special experiences you won't find anywhere else including tickets and VIP passes to Playing for Change concerts! Proceeds will go towards helping Guitars in the Classroom and the Playing For Change Foundation continue bringing the healing and teaching power of music to communities and children around the world.
Starting on October 24, 2010, Guitars in the Classroom and The Playing For Change Foundation will open the auction for bidding, until November 7th, 2010. No matter what you end up taking home for you or a loved one, the money raised from this auction will help GITC and PFCF to continue bringing the gift of music to educators and children all over the world.

We timed the auction to help the bidder beat the holiday rush, while getting access to unique and rare gifts that one would be unable to find anywhere else.

Since 1998, Guitars in the Classroom (GITC) has been inspiring, training and equipping classroom teachers to integrate music making across the academic curriculum through "song-based instruction" so students of all ages have educational, musical access and opportunity at school every day. Guitars in the Classroom's work prepares educators and specialists to lead music, confidently employing it as a dynamic tool for reaching all learners, teaching all subjects, and building character, creativity and community. The Playing For Change Foundation (PFCF) is dedicated to connecting the world through music by providing resources (including, but not limited to facilities, supplies, and educational programs) to musicians and their communities around the world. By providing a safe place to learn and flourish, PFCF schools offer a positive alternative to the struggles that many children face daily.
