Both educational and entertaining, the New England Aquarium is a great place to spend an afternoon exploring a world few of us generally see. The New England Aquarium opened on June 20, 1969, but it traces its roots back to the Boston Aquarial Gardens of the 1800s. Its many exhibits give visitors a closer look at penguins, seals, sea turtles, jellyfish, a coral reef, and more.
