Very good bagel shop on the Covert Ave. strip.  The bagels here are huuuge!  Seriously, they sell mini bagels here that are the size of regular bagels at other establishments.  

But My Three Sons isn't only about quantity, they have quality to match.  The bagels have a nice crisp crust and a great chewiness inside.  They also make an awesome bialy here, loaded with that oniony topping- so good with some butta.  
The husband & wife team that own this shop actually have 3 sons.  I really enjoy supporting the local businesses, so that is a plus.

Minus one star for the crazy lines and parking on weekends.  It is not uncommon to see the line stretched out the door on Saturday & Sunday.  Grab the paper and get on line, the workers move it pretty quickly.  The counter help can be a little surly, but it is worth it for the bagels!

In the year 2000 My Three Sons Bagel Café opened its doors to a small store front in Elmont, New York. My Three Sons has been family owned and operated for the past 10 years by Mr. and Mrs. Arduino D’Amico. Arduino and his family strive to give outstanding customer service, and preparing our food with the finest and freshest ingredients.

In 2002 just before the selling of our Elmont location, we started “Hand Rolling” our bagels for our new location in Stewart Manor, New York. Unlike machined rolled bagels, hand rolled bagels just taste better period. They have a glossy, smooth, crispy, outside and a soft fluffy inside. Cut open a hot one, slab some butter on it, and you’re in heaven. We use the best quality flour, plus all the right and freshest ingredients, equals “the best tasting HAND ROLLED BAGELS Anywhere.”

In 2006 we expanded our business to Williston Park, New York. Shortly after in 2010 we opened up in Garden City, New York. Maybe we’ll have more stores but defiantly no more sons.

Not only do we specialize in just bagels, but we have a wide variety of homemade cream cheese and salad spreads. Our cream cheese’s ranges from vegetable to lox spread, and if you’re feeling something spicy try our new jalapeño spread. My Three Sons egg sandwiches are the talk of the towns, and if you’re stopping by for breakfast why not try our famous cranberry apple chicken salad for lunch. We have a wide variety of lunch sandwiches to choose from, and don’t forget we also serve wraps and panini. Our cold cuts are of course boars head products only, never the no-name brands. We always have a fresh pot of coffee brewing, so if you’re stopping by for your afternoon run, don’t worry your getting a fresh cup Joe. Alongside with that coffee you can have a delicious home baked cinna-bun or if you’re watching your weight a wholegrain yogurt muffin. We offer a very extensive catering menu to assist you for your next party, so call up or stop in to discuss any questions you need answered.
