The Summer Trading Post is now open!  The auction will run from July 31, 2011 to August 14, 2011, with proceeds going to the Washakie Museum.

The Washakie Museum is a community arts and cultural center and history museum for the preservation, education, cultural enrichment, and development of the Big Horn Basin in Wyoming.  The unique geography of the Big Horn Basin and its world-class archaeological sites allow the Museum to offer one of the finest interpretive centers for local human history.  The Museum also serves as a center for the visual and performing arts, conferences, conventions, and other gatherings.

Why Donate

Each year the Washakie Museum provides numerous exhibits, educational programs and events.  The variety of programs at the Museum offers something for everyone’s interest including: guest authors and historians, traveling and temporary history and art exhibits, theater productions and musical concerts with professional and local artists, children’s and adult educational programs, and more.  These programs and exhibits are only made possible through generous community supporters--our members, donors, and participants.

This is your opportunity to experience the act of giving in a new, fun, easy and entertaining way.  Participate in the Summer Trading Post to support the Washakie Museum and our mission to educate, preserve, culturally enrich and develop the Big Horn Basin.  All you have to do is point, click and bid.  There is something for every taste and budget!
