Bastille Day 2011 - Part 1

The 9th Annual Bastille festival will be held July 9, 2011, in Jamison Park and will be one of the largest such celebrations on the West Coast. This auction provides financial support for the annual event which is open to the public. The first segment of the auction is an on-site event held in conjunction with the Tartes Concours (contest) at OCI on June 21. Event attendees will bid on-site; that auction closes at 6:30 p.m. on June 21! Alliance members who are not attending that event may browse these items online and then come to the site on June 21, from 3:30 to 4:45 on June 21, to place bids. Email info@afportland.org or call 503.223.8388 to be part of the preview bidding or the live bidding on June 21.
PART 1 of this fundraiser is the June 21 Concours auction. Items will be added daily as we approach that date!
PART 2 of this fundraiser will be an ONLINE-ONLY auction that will run July 1 to July 14! Those items will be added to the site AFTER the June 21 auction.

Many of the donors to this auction are vendors or advertisers who are participating in the festival, and also many businesses in the Pearl who will have promotions on Bastille Day. Be sure to come visit them at the festival itself. Thanks again to them for their continued support!

The Bastille event in Jamison Park each year in July is open to the public, for free. To cover the event's expenses such as renting the park, paying for insurance, etc., we are fortunate to have key cash sponsors: the Regional Arts and Culture Council, Kafoury & McDougal, Brasserie Montmartre, FAIS, the Alliance and more -- but we also depend on this fundraiser to help make ends meet.
