The Uptown Civitan Online Charity Auction ends today!. The auction ends today, December 11, 2011, at 11PM EST, with net proceeds to benefit Angelwood, Inc. and Girls, Inc. 

Angelwood, Inc. cares for individuals with developmental disabilities such as Autism, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Intellectual Disabilities and Spina Bifida.

 High quality care and dignity is their hallmark as they provide critically needed vital services. In some cases, Angelwood is the only place these children, adults and families can turn.

Girls, Inc. of Jacksonville, formerly known as Girls Club has national roots dating to 1864.  Their mission is to inspire girls, aged 5-18, to be self confident, responsible, well rounded individuals that are Strong, Smart and Bold. By providing comprehensive, gender specific programming, they empower girls to value, understand and assert their rights-preparing each of them for a healthy and successful future.

Founded in 1983, Uptown Civitan, is a local and internationally recognized civic organization dedicated to serving individual and community needs with an emphasis on helping people with developmental disabilities and disadvantaged childen.
