Twenty-three years ago The Summit School was founded to fill a need in the community for a school that could educate bright students with dyslexia and other learning challenges.  Our school of 107 students, grades 1-8, has now served more than 450 students and another thousand families through our summer program, tutorial services, and a diagnostic center. 

Summit was named a National Blue Ribbon School of excellencee after 10 years, and has earned more than 20 awards and honors locally, regionally, and nationally.  But, the most important of all is that our students finally feel smart, capable and successful after having been so frustrated in their prior school setting.  Our carefully executed program, with a 4:1 overall ratio of students to staff, has changed hundreds of lives.
