Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick, Maine
UUCB Fall Auction to Rebuild Our Church
The UUCB Auction Has Ended
THANKS for supporting the Unitarian Universalist Church of Brunswick.
On June 6, 2011 an electrical fire damaged our historic church beyond repair. The congregation voted to tear down the old church and rebuild a larger, greener church in the same location. The new building will not only serve the worship needs of the congregation, but will be the epicenter for many community groups, activities and cultural events.
The 7 Unitarian Universalist Principles
We, the member congregations of the Unitarian Universalist Association, covenant to affirm and promote:
- The inherent worth and dignity of every person;
- Justice, equity and compassion in human relations;
- Acceptance of one another and encouragement to spiritual growth in our congregations;
- A free and responsible search for truth and meaning;
- The right of conscience and the use of the democratic process within our congregations and in society at large;
- The goal of world community with peace, liberty and justice for all;
- Respect for the interdependent web of all existence of which we are a part.
