MYT's family productions have adults and youth working side by side on stage performing.  Some of the people you will see in this production are:

Midcoast Youth Theater was established in May of 2003 to offer the youth in the greater Brunswick community the opportunity to be part of an inclusive summer theater experience.  Today MYT offers several opportunities for people of all ages to participate in theater.   A Teen show for High School Age Students that runs in July, a Young Children's show for Elementary School Age Students that runs in July, a Youth show for Middle School Age Students that runs in August and a Family shows for all ages (Adults and youth alike) that runs in December and April.  We also offer additional programming as time, funding and resources allow. 

The mission of Midcoast Youth Theater is to empower youth (and adults) through a safe, nuruturing theater experience, to build life skills with teamwork, creative problem solving, public speaking, risk taking and tolerance while enhancing self awarenss and self esteem.  The MYT mission is unique in this area in that no person is ever turned away.  Every child or adult who wants to participate, may do so unconditionally.  We do not make cuts from auditions process.
