VYCC Conservation Program Coordinator, Christopher Ricker is no stranger to teaching inside the classroom, but in the words of LB Sharp “those things which can be taught outdoors should there be taught,” which is why Chris is donating his time to provide the VYCC Online Auction with a two hour 'Project Wild’ workshop.

Project WILD's is a K-12 curriculum which provides wildlife-based conservation and environmental education that fosters responsible actions toward wildlife and related natural resources. The goal of Project WILD is to assist learners of all ages in developing awareness, knowledge, skills, and commitment that result in informed decisions,
responsible behavior, and constructive actions concerning wildlife and the environment upon which all life depends.

Chris is willing to facilitate this Project Wild workshop either at the VYCC Headquarters in Richmond, Vermont, or would be willing to travel within thestate of Vermont to a school, or club location, provide the bidder has permission to utilize such a facility. Because this is a youth based workshop it is suggested that this item be used with a youth audience (i.e. school group, class, boy/girl scout group, ect).
