PACE Center for Girls of Palm Beach County is a nonresidential, gender-specific, non-profit prevention and intervention program for girls at-risk for juvenile delinquency in the State of Florida. PACE’s gender responsive model is based on a proven theory of change that is evaluated by measurable outcomes in the areas of education, behaviors, community connectedness, vocations, recidivism and family environment. PACE Center for Girls has a strong partnership with the Department of Juvenile Justice (DJJ) and is aligned with the Department’s mission to increase public safety by reducing juvenile delinquency through effective prevention, intervention and care planning services that strengthen families and turn around the lives of trouble youth.
PACE’s mission and vision, as well as our daily structure within the academic and social services components, assists girls and young women to develop life skills to gain self confidence, become resourceful and self-sufficient, and position themselves to have a successful life.
Mission: PACE provides girls and young women an opportunity for a better future through education, counseling, training and advocacy.
Vision: PACE values all girls and young women, believing each one deserves an opportunity to find her voice, achieve her potential and celebrate a life defined by responsibility, dignity, serenity, and grace.
