Housing and Services, Inc. is running an online auction from June 6-16, so check back often and bid to show your support for supportive housing!
From June 6-16, 2013, Housing and Services, Inc. is holding an online auction featuring our tenants' artwork and a variety of unique gifts and finds. Many of our items are tenants' artwork, art that will then be bid on at a silent art auction the night of our event - tenants get to keep 100% of the proceeds of any work that they sell. Proceeds from the sale of other items on our online auction will go to support HSI's programs and social services for this next year.

This auction is a preview for Revitalize: An Evening of Renewal, HSI's annual fundraiser and art gala. From 6-9pm on June 19 at the Helen Mills Theatre (137 W. 26th Street), come out and enjoy cocktails, tasty hors d'oeuvres, live soul music, and a silent auction featuring all of the tenants' artwork that is listed on this site.
A special thank-you to Forefront Church!
We want to send a special thank-you to our friends at Forefront Church, who volunteered an immense amount of their time, energy, and items to HSI during Hurricane Sandy. HSI's largest housing site - Kenmore Hall - was without heat, electricity, water, or elevator service for six days, and volunteers from Forefront networked with friends across the nation to bring in food, water, flashlights, and gasoline for the generators that kept Kenmore Hall's first and second floors heated throughout that difficult week. They also volunteered their time and efforts to the cleaning process afterwards, a gesture that both our staff and tenants appreciate.
Thank you, Forefront Church! We will be recognizing this community partner at our gala on June 19.
