Royal Jelly is a whitish, creamy substance produced by worker bees to nourish their queen bee. It consists of an emulsion of proteins, sugars and lipids in a water base. It contains vitamins A, B-Complex, C, D and E. It is particularly useful for its B-Complex contents, including thiamine (B1), riboflavin (B2), pyridoxine (B6), B12, niacine, biotin, folic acid and inositol. It also supplies minerals and trace elements (sodium, kalium, magnesium, calcium, iron, zinc and copper) and all the amino acids essential for life.
