Each year, Dunwoody Country Club hosts a charity event called A Tradition of Giving, benefiting two local charities.  We will be holding a silent and live auction fundraising event at our Charity Gala on Saturday, August 24, 2013.  This year, all of the funds raised from this event will be used to support two local charities, Special Olympics Georgia and The Ryan Seacrest Foundation.

Special Olympics Georgia provides year-round sports training and athletic competition for children and adults with intellectual disabilities. Their goal is to help bring these special people into the larger society under conditions whereby they are accepted, respected and given the chance to become useful and productive citizens.  

The Ryan Seacrest Foundation (RSF) is an organization dedicated to inspiring today’s youth through entertainment and education focused initiatives.  Specifically, DCC Charity Event’s proceeds will go towards supporting Seacrest Studios Atlanta location, THE VOICE, whose goal is to contribute positively to the healing process for children and their families during their stay.  This state-of-the-art broadcast media center is housed within Egleston Children's Hospital, and available via satellite to all of the Children's Healthcare of Atlanta network.
