Description

A "tree-less" tree house!  This 10-year old tree house was born of necessity: only a sole "borrowed" tree existed in the backyard--and creativity: an excess tugboat mast located at a boat yard.

Designed and built 10 years ago by a talented team, this self-supporting structure allows children to go aloft without the aid of a tree or tree limbs. It features a handmade rope ladder, a colorful, circus-like tent top (made by Sperry Tents of Marion, MA), a trap door at the top of the ladder to keep out unwanted parents, and a fireman's pole for a fun and easy exit route, ...

The "tree-less" structure is in need of a new family to provide a coat of paint and some tent top repair. It has already been moved once from one house to another. All that will be required to erect it in a new location is a deep hole and some stabilizing concrete.

Endless hours of fun to be had in all seasons!
