Killebrew-Thompson Memorial Foundation is now ready and open to run an online auction fundraiser August 29th through September 3rd.
In an effort to continue our tradition of raising funds for cancer and leukemia research, the Tournament Committee is excited about presenting this very special Virtual Auction as a replacement for our annual live auction at the tournament in Sun Valley. As you are aware, we were forced to cancel the 37th Annual due to wildfires in the area.
The tournament auction is the single largest component for funds raised each year and has a truly significant impact on research dollars. Proceeds benefit St. Luke’s Mountain States Institute in Boise, ID and University of Minnesota Cancer Research Center. The recipients have used these funds in matching grant programs, which are leveraged to the multi-million dollar level annually, for direct use in leukemia and cancer research.
The KTM 2013 Auction will make a difference in cancer research if everyone can participate at some level. Good luck on winning your favorites.
