This extremely rare and high quality bottle of vintage 1955 was donated from the private cellar of the Solimas Family.

Located not far from Chateau Margaux the vineyard of Prieuré-Lichine has the distinction of being located in the communes of Cantenac, Arsac, Labarde, Soussans and Margaux. This is one of the most fragmented of the Medoc. Its soil is composed of gravels and the grape varieties are dominated by Merlot. The wine, of a dark purple colour, develops generous blackcurrant and raspberry aromas. They are soft and can be kept many years.
