Thank you for visiting the Missions Marketplace 2014 online auction.  The items in the auction have been donated by United Methodist churches and organizations across Mississippi in order to raise money for a variety of UM supported missions in our state.  Below you will find a list of each of the missions that will receive a portion of the funds raised, in addition to links to help you find out more about the organization. 

All items sold during the auction will be available for pick up by winning bidders on Sunday June 8th, from 8:00AM to 3:30PM. Items that are sold but not picked up will be taken back to the district where they were donated. Winning bidders will be contacted to arrange shipping at the expense of the winner.  

All items are live online auction items and can be bid on until the close of the auction on June 7 at 10 pm(cst). There will be no "in person" bidding. All bidding must be done online.

Items which are not sold will become the property of the MS Annual Conference and will be kept for use in later Mississippi Marketplace fundraising events.

A little more detail about the hows and whats:

All profits from the auction will be distributed in 11 equal shares to each of the district missions emphases, as selected by the DS and Missions Secretary from each district and announced prior to the auction.

All of the missions entities and organizations affiliated with the Conference will be asked to solicit donations for the auction using their network of board members, local volunteers, churches, and businesses. In addition, every church in the conference will be asked to donate one item for the auction.
