Description
The vase is 12 inches high. The diameter is approximately 5 ½ to 6 inches at the widest point.
In the mid 1950's McCarty Pottery opened in Merigold and it has been a mecca in the Delta for art patrons ever since. The McCarty's work, consisting of functional as well as decorative pieces, continues to find national markets. McCarty pieces are in the Smithsonian Institution, the Hamelin Museum in Germany and the UNESCCO offices in Paris. This vase donated by St. Luke UMC in Cleveland has a soft green glaze and unique style of Lee McCarty.
