Description

Gain helpful tips for preschool through young adults in this one-on-one, hour-long session with Waldorf educator and guidance counselor, Rick Concoff, in his Sebastopol Office. He can help parents in making effective choices concerning parenting styles, discipline, consequences (rather than punishment) instilling initiative in their children, choosing their battles, listening, being present and doing the best job of guiding their children into being functional, successful, happy, contributing adults.


Education: Rick Concoff holds a B.A. in psychology and an M.A. in Social and Communal Programming and Counseling from Antioch University. His training includes on-going educational in-service, professional development, seminars and professional retreats and conferences.


Professional Work: Rick has over 35 years of experience including Educator and Collaborative Management in Waldorf, Private and Charter Schools, Music, Violin, Orchestra, Comparative Religions, Ethics, Values and Virtues™, Study and Life Skills. He served as a guidance counselor for 6th-12th grade, interim executive director of the Jewish Community Center teen, adult, camp and children’s program, Jewish educator and principal, educational consultant, mediator and facilitator, parenting and teacher educator and mentor, parent and student coach, presenter and speaker, violinist and performer.


Current work: He currently works as a Waldorf teacher, parent and student educator , educational consultant, Jewish Community Center teen program director and educator, life coach, presenter and facilitator and summer day camp director.
