About the artist:

Rod Knutson has been a full-time self-supporting painter all of his adult life. He started exhibiting and selling paintings while still in school. Rod has been affiliated with 22 different galleries and has had 29 one-man shows. His work is represented in public and private collections all over North America and Europe. One of his specialties involves a number of "historical reconstructions" of past events or scenes based upon old photos and verbal information from clients: a store front-street scene from 1948, a hospital from 1925, and a family estate set in 1906 Italy, to name a few.
