The Tree Identification Poster includes 24 major species in Vermont and  the northeastern United States.  Each tree has the following five informational  columns:


1. Name including the Latin wording


2. Wood utilization of each species


3. Wildlife habitat and food provided by each species


4. Interesting facts about each species


5. The BTUs or heat per cord produced by each species

This poster was created by Sam Schneski, Windham and Windsor County Forester, Vermont Department of Forests, Parks, and Recreation (www.vtfpr.org) and the Vermont Woodlands Association (www.vermontwoodlands.org) and the American Tree Farm System, the White Mountain National Forest, and the US Forest Service in 2013 to help identify the primary tree species, uses, habitats, and Fun Facts in the Northeast and beyond.


This poster is excellent for classrooms, forestry and wildlife centers, nature trails, state and federal parks.  The identifying images are in four-color.


Posters are shipped in hard case mailing tubes, and the tube is included in the shippping cost.  Up to 10 posters can be shipped in one mailing tube.  Note quantity discounts.
